Appeals
Sanger Greene represents nonprofits, industry groups, and consumer-owned utilities in appellate proceedings. This work ranges from advising clients on appeal rights to filing and sustaining appeals from start to end, and includes participation in appellate proceedings as an intervenor or amicus. Our approach is solutions-oriented and responsive to client needs.
Additionally, our work on both administrative law matters and appellate matters provides useful perspective in each context. In administrative law matters, we are always building, attacking, or defending an agency record with an eye on the possibility for later judicial review; in appellate matters, we are always cognizant of the importance of the underlying decision and record being appealed.
